TextConnection offers a range of training courses in writing, editing, Plain English, corporate communications and small press publishing.

While we have a number of training packages that we offer, we also are happy to work with individuals and organisations to develop specific needs-based sessions.

So far TC has offered sessions in producing effective newsletters, preparation for publishing, self-publishing, editing of fiction and non-fiction, and writing workshops in fiction, poetry, biographical writing, travel writing and writing for children.

Both Susanna and Sherryl are currently editing manuscripts for Hong Kong writers.

Sherryl has just run a workshop on writing poetry for kids at the Melbourne Poets' union, and is teaching an online subject - Writing Picture Books - as well as her other classes and writing projects. She wrote a textbook on short story writing for EPH in Hong Kong; it will be published very soon.

Susanna has been working hard on a big editing job for Melbourne Waterways. Yes, she's back on stormwater and the environment. The job required a large amount of restructuring and then fine editing of text. Almost there, she says!
